Radio

short film that depicts two former bandmates, who reconvene after their band's breakup and the death of their drummer – explores how shared fame can destabilise the foundations a friendship was built on.

Manic Depression

blog navigating the lived experiences and treatment methods of psychiatric conditions – posts tend to emphasise the value of self-evaluation to people living with psychological disorders (to everyone, really) – to accept and analyse oneself is to earn the luxury of movement and growth.

Brontëcore

fragments, ideas, collages, sketches, poems – drawn from and inspired by the poetry of Emily Brontë, Christina Rossetti, Emily Dickinson, John Donne, Anne Sexton, and more lovely lovely people (not limited to poets) – reckless format, low quality.

Letters to Nastasya

loveletter/music-review hyrbrids – affective criticism, where social experiences of music listening are inseperable from musical critique – earlier entries establish emotional and conceptual ground that later ones build upon – echoes (but does not intend to recreate) Prince Lev Myshkin and Nastasya Filippovna's relationship in Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Idiot – demonstrates a kind of love focused on attentiveness (listening to music together, sharing songs, recommending albums) rather than possession.

Art Portfolio

this is where I pool most of my art – digital, graphite, ink, watercolour, etc.

Old Articles

early music reviews, youth-culture commentary, listicles, etc. etc.
